Rehydrate Your Body and Boost Your Brainpower

Today is Day 6 of my Healthy Living 30 Day Challenge, which I created for my Facebook Group (I hope you’ll join the group if you aren’t yet a member).

My goal with this challenge is to encourage you (and myself) to try just one thing each day to start leading a healthier, happier, more active life.

Some days, I’ll have an exercise tip here.

Other days I’ll have a tip for healthy eating.

And if you start incorporating each of these little tips into your daily life you should start to see a BIG difference in the way you feel—and probably a big difference in the way you act.

Here’s today’s tip:

We all know it's a good idea to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

But plain old water can be boring, so here's something to try today.

If you don't already have one, get a big glass jar with a spigot and make up a delicious jar of flavored water you can drink throughout the day.

Get in the habit of making flavored water every morning in a big jar like this and encourage your family to enjoy the water throughout the day, too.

After a while, drinking water like this all day will one of your regular healthy habits!

If you ever stay at nice hotels, you’ve probably noticed that most of them tend to have large glass container like this one in the main lobby with flavored water you can enjoy.

I like to fill a jar like this with flavored water and put it on the counter in my kitchen (it’s a high counter with barstools, so it makes it easy to fill a glass using the spigot).

It makes me feel pampered—like I’m staying at a nice hotel.

  1. Thanks for the recipes for flavored water Suzanne. Some of them look really good, especially the orange, vanilla and cinnamon one. I also made my 5k step goal today at 5,435.
