The Most Affordable Skin Care Products to Reduce the Signs of Aging

I live and write by the sea on Florida’s beautiful Treasure Coast.
And since I love to spend time at the beach most days, I realize more and more how important it is to take care of my skin.
Luckily, many years ago I was watching one of the late night talk shows when the host remarked to the guest—who was a famous actress around 30 or so (I can’t even remember now who she was)—that her skin was flawless and it must cost a fortune to keep it that way.
The actress surprised the host and the audience when said she used skin care products from a line called Boots, which was only available in Target stores.
The next day I went to Target and purchased some day cream and something called restore & renew serum from the Boots line.
I loved it, and I’ve used it ever since.
The brand isn’t called Boots anymore.
The creams and serums I use are called No 7 – and I like to get 3 products in one set – called No 7 Restore & Renew Anti-Aging Skincare System—because it’s such a great value.
Here’s what it looks like:
For awhile I switched to some more expensive creams and serums from another line, thinking that if something as affordable as the No 7 products could make my skin look so good, just imagine what some of the high-end creams and serums could do.
Well, the truth was, they didn’t do anything that the No 7 creams didn’t do.
And they didn’t do it any better.
They just cost more.
Lots more.
So I went back to No 7.
And since I don’t care for foundation (I like something a bit lighter), I also use No 7 Dual Action Tinted Moisturizer.
It really does make my face feel “silky smooth” and I love that it contains sunscreen (SPF 15) and is hypo-allergenic.
Of course, I still wear a hat whenever I’m at the beach writing.
After all, beauty products and skin creams can only do so much, right?
