A Look at What’s in the April Beauty Box from Target

Several months ago I found out about the monthly Beauty Box available from Target.

If you haven’t ordered one of these little boxes yet, you should.

It’s a great way to try new products that you might not even know about without spending a lot of money since each Beauty Box is only $7.00.

Plus, you get some wonderful products that you already know about and love.

Plus, each box includes a coupon (usually for $3.00 off a Beauty purchase-cosmetics, skin care, or hair care products) of $15 or more.

Plus, the box ships to your home address for free.

While many of the products are sample size (quite generous sizes for samples, though), each box usually includes at least one full-size product.

For example, several months ago a full-size sample of Total Tease Mascara was included in the box (and it’s become my favorite mascara and I’ve purchased it a couple of times since using the sample I got in my Beauty Box).

I Love the Perfume Samples

I really like it when a box contains a perfume sample since I definitely like to try perfumes or colognes before I buy them to make sure the scent doesn’t smell really odd on me after a few hours (some perfumes smell like bug spray on me after awhile).

A small purse-size atomizer of Vera Wang Embrace was included in the Beauty Box a few months ago, and I decided to purchase a full size bottle few weeks later.

What a Deal

I used the $3.00 off a $15 Beauty purchase coupon on that order, got free shipping, PLUS there was a special promotion offering a $5 Target gift card with any beauty purchase, so I got that, too.

Plus, I used my Target REDcard to pay for my order, so I got an additional 5% discount.

Wow! I felt like a super shopper on that deal!

But back to this month’s Beauty Box.

I particularly love the Rose-Vanilla Deodorant. It’s such a clean, delicate, natural scent.

I just got my box yesterday, so I can’t wait to try the Weleda Skin Food and the Nourish Organic Face Lotion.

Travel Size Products

I like to save some of the smaller samples and use them when I travel.

They easily fit in my makeup bag and are usually just enough to last if I’m taking a short trip.

One thing I should mention here – usually the month’s Beauty Box sells out quickly.

I get a notice from Target each month to let me know the Beauty Box is available and then I order it right away.
